Broken Water Heater Causes Water Damages in Diamondhead, Mississippi Home

These before and after photos were taken at our customer's home in Diamondhead, Mississippi. Their water heater malfunctioned causing water to flood throughout their home. The living room, kitchen, bedroom hallway, and a few bathrooms were inundated with standing water. Our emergency water damage mitigation team quickly responded to first assess damages and extract the standing water. Unfortunately, the water had already migrated underneath their engineered wood flooring. Our team needed to remove the flooring to ensure all water was removed and to allow proper drying. We also removed the baseboards in this living room to allow airflow to dry the affected drywall. Trapped water behind the baseboards could have resulted in secondary damages. After a couple of days of drying and dehumidification, their home was dry and ready for reconstruction services.
